You're right of course. However, this is part of the beginners course, so I am sort of trying out ideas about how to make some of these weird moves we do relevant.

Does that not depend on the dog though? even for beginners? I'd never get a front cross with Flynn, he'd take my legs out lol!!!

Well, one could send to jump 4, and cross this side of 5 (from 3). But I'm just trying to get the principle across.
When I said beginners course above I meant as in a taught course, not a course for running, if you see what I mean.

Yes i'm understanding Rob just wondered, even if in beginners, you would determine forward drive for some dogs to understand how they want to be driven? Something I've done with Flynn and not done before :) Good luck with the beginners Jx
